Jigsaw has been organising about 3 coach day trips each year since 2010, to enable people with a learning disability and their family and friends to go out of the area for a fun day out.

Who drives the coach?
We use a Greenline coach and professional driver. The coaches have air conditioning, air suspension, toilets and drink making facilities.

 

Who comes on the trips?
Anyone is welcome, they are aimed at people who are on a low income and have no car and do not get many opportunities to get out of the local area and to explore new places.

​

What is special about Jigsaw coach trips?
We are a very friendly group and make everyone welcome. Julie is our courier and she sells tea and coffee and also a ‘Julie special’ (with a dash of Baileys) on the way there and back.

 

Coach facilities and fun!

Our coaches always have a toilet and we stop on the way to our destination and usually on the way home, at the motorway services.
 

We also have a chocolate raffle on the coach, tickets are 50p and everyone’s a winner and goes home with some chocolate.

 

We usually have music on the coach, and sometimes a game of bingo.
