Country Walk

Walking Group

Jigsaw walks take place approximately every other month, usually on a Saturday. We also do a Christmas walk between Christmas and New Year and a short summer evening walk with a picnic tea.

The Saturday walks are usually around 8 to 10 miles and we bring a picnic lunch and drinks with us as we might not see any shops to buy food when we get to the start.

Background ..

The Jigsaw walking group which provides day walks of approx. 10 miles in local countryside such as Wyre Forest, Cannock Chase and Shropshire.

All walks meet at 8.30am in car park of New Inns Pub, Oldbury Road and Station Road, Blackheath.

Jigsaw will send out letters 2-3 weeks before the walks.

Anyone who would like to join the walking group needs to:

  1. Have all the right equipment and clothing – See full details on the right-side of this page.

  2. Complete a Jigsaw information form before they can come on the walks, as this form contains important health and safety information, and the form is taken by us on each walk.

  3. Have done a half day walk first of about 4 to 5 miles so we know you are fit enough to do a full day walk.
