New Jigsaw trustees wanted

We are seeking trustees with an interest in enabling people with a learning disability to lead a full life.

Jigsaw is a small charity (currently undergoing registration) which makes a difference to people with a learning disability by organising social events. Jigsaw operates in the West Midlands area.

We are seeking new trustees to give fresh ideas into future strategic development / fundraising, and to ensure sound decision making.

This role will enable us to:

  • Move forward into the next stage of our strategic development

  • Obtain fresh ideas which will ensure that Jigsaw meets its legal and statutory duties, remains solvent and is well run

  • Complete our charity registration

  • Continue to provide, and further develop, fun, engaging social activities for people with a learning disability or other social disadvantage

Person Description:

We are particularly looking for knowledge and experience in some of the following areas;

  • Financial management

  • Fundraising strategy

  • IT strategy

  • Marketing strategy

  • Strategic development and planning

(As we are seeking three new trustees it is not essential for any one trustee to have all the skills required).

Meetings are held quarterly on a weekday evening. A minimum of 3 years commitment is required.
